Visa In case you need a visa to enter Norway, we will issue a signed invitation to the event, which can be used when applying for a visa. Kindly note that it is your responsibility to apply for visa in due time. We recommend that you contact the nearest Norwegian Embassy as soon as possible for information about visa application procedures. Financial support The Norwegian Government will provide financial support to representatives from developing countries and invited NGOs. The support is limited to one government official from States Parties that are eligible according to the OECD/DAC rules.
The financial support consists of three elements: - A travel grant will be paid out after the conference. Such grants are based on the official economy class flight rates of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- Per diem in Norwegian currency, equivalent of 100 USD per day, for two days, will be paid directly to the participants upon registration at the opening of the seminar
- Accommodation at the Radisson SAS Plaza Hotel including breakfast for two nightswill be paid for directly by the organisers. For those who wish to attend an NGO-seminar 17 September, the preceding night will be paid, as well as one additional per diem. However, any personal expenses charged to the room must be paid by the guest concerned at check-out.
